A family of circuits and societies across Kumasi, proclaiming Christ, nurturing disciples and serving our communities since the gospel first reached Asante in 1839.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
The Kumasi Diocese of The Methodist Church Ghana brings together circuits and societies across the Kumasi metropolis and its surroundings. Our story reaches back to 1839, when the missionary Thomas Birch Freeman first preached the gospel in Kumasi.
Led by our Diocesan Bishop, Lay Chairman and Synod Secretary, we gather for worship, nurture faith in families and fellowships, train leaders, and care for our communities through schools, health and social service.
